Your Job

The Brand Creative team imagines/designs/curates/hurls out creative assets to the whole of the Brooks’ community, as well as external partners through print, digital, and other visual communication mediums. The Digital Asset Specialist is a valued member of the team supporting our growing digital asset management system (DAM), ensuring the quality of our digital assets, and solving for asset availability for both internal and external teams. You will administer the company's digital asset management (DAM) system and play a key role in the organization and release of global assets to all Brooks departments, retailers, and suppliers. You will support the day-to-day operations of our DAM including organization, naming, upload/download of assets and tracking and training. You will develop a strong understanding of how a brand comes to life through the regular day-to-day functions of the Brand Creative team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage digital capital including imagery, video, written content, and audio on the Digital Asset Management servers
  • Ensure all assets are cataloged, curated, and tagged with the proper meta data and global permissions are accurate
  • Continuously evaluate and implement DAM processes and provide recommendations to evolve and streamline how creative digital assets are managed
  • Monitor asset uploads and downloads to track trending utilization of assets to assess future brief deliverables.
  • Schedule and facilitate DAM onboarding and training sessions for employees
  • Work with key internal and external partners set up file transfer protocols and standards
  • Support DAM user compliance with policies and procedures to ensure standardized data naming and content quality
  • Serve as a Brooks liaison between internal Brooks employees and our outside vendors for DAM access, DAM training, and interaction and utilization of final assets
  • Independently assist internal and external partners with creative asset locations and DAM accessibility
  • Support asset accessibility including archiving of all assets after a 2-year period once licensing has expired
  • Other projects and work as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Data Asset Management, metadata driven software or other relevant work experience preferred
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in an Agency, Creative Studio or Marketing operations role
  • Previous experience with operational workflows that require managing tracking documentation
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, OneDrive, Google Drive, and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
  • Extreme attention to detail, high level of focus on accuracy and quality

Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $24.00 per hour in our lowest geographic market up to $38.36 per hour in our highest geographic market. Base pay offered will consider the specific geographic market and will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
