About The Position

Digital Promise is seeking an Operations Associate to support the Pathways and Credential projects and overall operations. The Operations Associate will support developing processes for managing contracts, budgets, invoices, vendor payments, and database management. The ideal candidate will have a background in operations, preferably non-profit operations, or an interest in competency-based learning and micro-credentials, a commitment to racial justice and equity, and experience managing operational projects from beginning to end. This position will report to the Senior Operations Manager, Micro-credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to manage contracts and budgets, following internal operational protocols
  • Communicate with external partners to facilitate contracting process
  • Manage invoices, payments, disbursement of stipends, reimbursements, and monthly account reconciliations
  • Administer contracts and invoices via Salesforce, leveraging tools such as Google Suite, familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Manage operational databases, including but not limited to financial records, to keep information secure and up-to-date, experience with spreadsheets preferred
  • Co-develop, maintain, and inform operational tools, processes, and resources
  • Collaborate and participate in planning and managing resources for the Pathways and Credentials team meetings

Qualifications

  • A passion for learning, a team mentality, creativity, and a positive “can-do” “yes-and” spirit
  • Experience working with non-profit institutions, managing contracts and budgets
  • Experience developing and managing operational processes and resources
  • Experience with or willingness to learn project management tools is a plus, such as Salesforce, Asana, Google Suite, Box, and Slack
  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills preferred, such as creating pivot tables, use of functions, and visualization
  • Database management skills is a plus, such as creating data dashboards and visualizations
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with external and internal relationship management
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions
  • Strategic thinker with ability to anticipate challenges and plan for resolution
  • Creative, caring, team player with a strong work ethic
  • Evidence of post-secondary education (relevant degree, certification, course completion, micro-credential) that denotes competence in related skills

Working Conditions:

Digital Promise Global is a hybrid organization. Employees are expected to travel at least 4

times a year for in-person meetings and the annual staff retreat. Additional travel may be

Required Based On Role And Responsibilities.

  • Travel up to 10%
  • Physical/Sensory Demands Fast-paced working environment. Extensive computer usage and online engagement & communication. Must be willing to build inclusive relationships and collaborate with employees at all levels within the organization and external partners.
  • Special Provisions: Occasional work outside of normal business hours, such as weekends and evenings required.

Compensation

The full-time salary range for the Operations Associate position is between $60,000- $74,000

with exact salary depending on experience.
