How You’ll Be Protecting The World

Venafi is looking for a motivated and experienced Associate Product Designer. Venafi Product Designers work with cross functional teams to deliver world class products and experiences. As an Associate Product Designer at Venafi, you will:

• Be part of a motivated, dedicated, and experienced team that’s responsible for designing products that manage some of the most important assets of the Global 5000 companies.
• Contribute directly and significantly to our current product lines and not yet released products.
• Own the user experience flows, functionality, and overall user experience of the product you are responsible for.
• Be supported in dreaming big and pushing innovative ideas and strategies.

The Ideal Venafi Warrior Will Be Armed With

• Turn abstract ideas into simple, clear designs
• Collaborate with product managers and the development teams on concepts and prototypes
• Create design deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, workflows, etc.
• Work with our in-house researchers to test designs and prototypes
• Design and conduct user interviews with existing and prospect customers virtually and/or in person

Skills And Experience Required

• 1-2 years proven interaction design experience at a software company, preferably IT software development industry.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong skills in user flow, interaction, and visual design
• Proficiency in modern design systems like: Material Design, IBM Carbon, or Salesforce Lightning System, etc.
• Proficiency in industry tools including but not limited to Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.
• Passion for innovation and a desire to bring consumer-grade interfaces to enterprise products
• An eye for aesthetic design including layout, typography, color, and animation, that scales across multiple product lines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Desire to solve problems and build solutions in the Machine Identity Management space.

What Sets You Apart?

• Graduate with HCI background
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Strong visual design skills
• Experience designing for enterprise level product lines
• Experience with Responsive Design
• Good understanding of modern web frameworks

The anticipated pay range for this position is $81,000 to $95,000. This is a general estimate for informational purposes only. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant qualifications, experience, and skills.
