HireCapital is seeking Security Engineers to work on a remote basis, full-time, with an innovative team of application security experts that truly believes in doing things the smartest way possible, while learning together.

Responsibilities:
- Hack, ethically!
- Performing reviews/tests on applications (web, conventional, embedded, firmware, mobile, and more!)
- Risk assessment with both manual and automated techniques
- Threat model generation
- Design and development of security testing scenarios
- Sharing testing results to the team, leadership, and clients
- Documentation- problem reports, test plans, mitigation recommendations
- Find ways to automate penetration test automation
- Code reviews, security vulnerability detection
- Possible travel for in-person security assessments
Requirements:
- You should know common security bugs, attack types, and strategic mitigation
- Understanding of network fundamentals
- The ability to code in one or more languages- be able to read source code and code as well!
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix administration, interest in reverse engineering
- Embraces new technologies
