Job Description

Piper Companies is currently searching for a Full Stack Developer to work as a full-time employee for a leading compliance management firm.

Full stack developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties. Full stack developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Designing and developing APIs.

Full Stack Developer Requirements:

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong working knowledge of .NET core and ASP.NET
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, Angular and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, Vue or Amber.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python and .NET
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.

Duties

• Manage one or more teams of offshore developers
• Work with Product team to understand business requirements and success criteria
• Oversee the decomposition of work in preparation for the development team
• Manage story/task creation and estimation
• Identify necessary spike stories ahead of development sprints
• Identify options and make good technical decisions
• Create the story roadmap across sprints
• Guide team to successful use of SDLC
• Guide team in Agile/Scrum practices

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in implementation of SaaS systems
• Willingness to get into the details (requirements, code, testing, etc.)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum

Compensation

$75,000 plus full benefits (401k Match, PTO, Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, and much MORE!)
