Abnormal Security is looking for a Customer Marketing Specialist to join the Customer Marketing team. The mission of Customer Marketing at Abnormal is to establish Abnormal as an enterprise-grade security solution through high-impact customer evidence and testimonials. This role will lead the day-to-day management and growth of Abnormal Inspired, an online community of Abnormal customers. They will also create customer storytelling assets including webpages, presentations, case studies, blogs and videos. This is an opportunity to have a large impact on how an exciting and fast growing company is perceived in the market.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management, proactive communication, and a passion for community management. They should enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and with customers to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Manage online customer community portal (Influitive) and drive content calendar.
- Recruit customer speakers and testimonials for marketing events and campaigns.
- Create customer storytelling assets including webpages, presentations, case studies, blogs and videos.
- Maintain inventory systems for company-wide consumption of customer story assets.
- Collaborate with campaign managers and sales leaders to integrate customer storytelling assets into marketing and sales campaigns.
- Run recruitment campaigns for industry/analyst peer review sites.
- Ensuring customer and contact records are kept up to date and accurate.
- Ideate and source new user-generated content.
Must Haves
- 2 years of experience in sales or marketing at a B2B technology company, preferably cybersecurity.
- Experience managing major projects and programs and reporting on them on a weekly basis.
- Strong relationship builder and proactive communicator.
- Passion for cybersecurity: must desire to learn about the security market, Abnormal solution, and how it solves customer problems.
- Excellent writing and communication skills evidenced by multiple strong writing samples.
Nice to Have
- Community management and Social Media experience.
- Comfort and confidence interacting with customers in roles ranging from technical practitioner to CxO.
- Past experience in Customer Marketing, Field Marketing or Product Marketing.
