About The Role
As a Product Design Manager/UX Manager, you’ll be responsible for hiring, leading, and managing a team of UX and UI Designers and/or UX Team, and contributing to the design direction of the various products across the organization. You’ll be a trusted and strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders across the enterprise and evangelize the value of consumer-centered design that leads to demonstrable business value. You’ll ensure that the consumer experiences are simple, cohesive, inclusive, and meet a high bar of functional and visual design.

Job Responsibilities
Our people
Hire, lead and develop a Design team of UX, UI, Visual, and Motion designers.
Provide day-to-day coaching and design direction to designers to innovate and deliver exceptional solutions across platforms (Desktop & Mobile).
Guide the team to foster a shared understanding of the user-centric intersection between design, research, content, product, engineering, and business through continuous discovery habits.
Actively contribute and build a positive culture that focuses on timely feedback and growth of the team, while setting new standards in operational and executional excellence.

Provide leadership, vision, and direction of consumer experiences across the various products and channels.
Lead design and holistic thinking across the various products and business units.
Our process
Build strong relationships with leaders across the company to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed.
Drive a consumer-centric product development process and organizational culture, advocating for the user’s perspective and building user empathy.
Evangelize consumer-centered design in the organization, deliver a UX vision, and a plan to execute.
Requirements
Leadership skills
Experience and proficiency in managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of designers.
Is a servant leader who is motivated to build a culture and community by providing the structure, care, mentorship, and development that the team needs to flourish.
Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work.
Demonstrates strong business acumen. Has a deep understanding of business needs, represents insights to the business, and provides actionable directions that influence strategy.
Communication skills
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences across the organization.
Track-record of success working with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders and partners.
Experience in evangelizing consumer-centered thinking across all levels, creating a vision, and aligning teams to execute it.
