About the role:
Provides compensation support and consulting to a defined customer group; includes co-ordination of compensation processes for these groups; contributes to the development of compensation processes and systems; ensures that Reward Principles are communicated and applied in developing specific reward solutions.
Accountabilities:
- Help advise, guide, and support HR business partners and managers in applying divisional/group compensation practice and ensuring policies and practices conform to legislation.
- Support businesses with hiring or out-of-cycle compensation proposals and international secondment.
- Pull market data and make compensation recommendations based on data and HR/business feedback.
- Help provide consultative support to HR and managers for performance management, merit, incentive, stock, recognition, global mobility processes and equitable pay actions.
- Help support special business projects including reorganizations, acquisitions and disposals.
- Contribute to US/UK and international compensation projects.
- Help support the Head of Reward and Reward Partners
- Help maintain the global job architecture structure through role mapping and data review
- Create queries and interpret data.
- Review and determine FLSA classification.
- Support businesses with hiring or out-of-cycle compensation proposals and international secondment.
- Ensure adequate internal controls/approvals and accurate documentation where required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Business, Finance or HR related field required or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of overall human resources/finance experience with 1 or more years of compensation or financial analysis experience.
- Progress towards Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and additional Human Resources certifications (SHRM, GRP, GPHR) or financial qualification.
- Self-motivated and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Flexibility to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Strong team player and able to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong MS Office skills including advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc).
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
- General compensation knowledge required with aptitude & willingness to acquire compliance knowledge.
- Familiarity with employment/compensation regulations.
- Good verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including the ability to present information to senior managers and groups of HR employees.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
