Shipt is looking to hire an Associate Product Manager focused on addressing the needs of our customers in their marketplace experience. You will have the opportunity to work on growth, experience, and retention projects and learn from a broad team of experienced, passionate colleagues. In this data-forward role, you will face user experience, operational, and integration challenges as you seek to find the optimal balance between the needs of our business and the needs of our customers, shoppers, and retailers. You are always asking questions to learn more about the ‘Why’ and ‘How’ of the world. You are a natural leader and take ownership and pride in the quality of your work.

Your Responsibilities

• Become an expert in our customer analytics and the tools we use to report on them.
• Assist in pulling market/competitive research used in opportunity assessments.
• Identify areas that require customer research and propose research activities to learn more about them.
• Learn what sort of questions to ask your stakeholders to gather key information.
• Observe, learn from, and assist Sr PMs who are leading conversations with stakeholders.
• Understand backlog items and know which will help to drive more ROI and key KPIs for your domain area.
• Internalize and understand the breadth of your projects and the cross-functional components involved.
• Articulate meeting notes and know how to best speak to the different groups with whom you interact.
• Understand KPI benchmarks and how to identify good and bad results.
• Gain confidence in understanding results, creating summarizations, and socializing them.
• Work with Sr PMs to define, deliver, and analyze product experiments.

Job Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to the details of implementation; can identify errors, dependencies, and functional gaps.
• Excellent self-learner who can pick up new skills in a matter of hours or days.
• Exhibited excellent project management skills; can motivate and rally a skilled group of peers.
• Combines strong execution skills with a real passion for building great customer experiences.
• Exceptional communication skills which allow you to bridge the gaps of cross-functional projects in a multi-office environment.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work in a hyper-growth environment.
• Excellent in a highly ambiguous environment; can ask clarifying questions to help reduce ambiguity.
