We are looking to fill a People Analytics II position to join our HR team in supporting Energy Solutions’ 400+ employees located in 40 states throughout the country. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about using data to drive strategies and decisions at all levels, be well organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to adjust to changing circumstances with patience and professionalism.
Daily Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors practices, and other sources.
- Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare reports of data results, present and explain findings to HR leadership.
- Identify and recommend reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Based on metrics and analysis, make recommendations for policies and activities to improve the employee experience including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
- Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys, use spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
- Gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities and skills required by each job.
- Prepare monthly reporting on recruitment, retention and demographics to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, analytics, or related field preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in HR Analytics such as talent acquisition, HR operations, workforce planning, or as an active partner in hiring
- Proven professional experience developing analytical dashboards using BI tools, preferably Tableau
- Some knowledge of employment laws
- Experience in managing projects.
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and turning data into insight
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office (Office365, SharePoint, OneNote)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and working with non-technical managers
- Able to navigate multiple interrelated projects
- Must be able to work efficiently and responsibly in an environment with multiple work demands and short timeframes.
- Enthusiastic about data and analytics, learning new techniques and skills, and working with data scientists and engineers
- SHRM CP or HRCI designation preferred
Salary DOE: $75k - $90k / Annually
