About Us:

Our mission at Wrapbook is to increase the prosperity of the project economy. A significant shift has occurred within the workforce recently and 50M Americans are now engaged in freelance or project-based work. The popularity of project based employment has introduced flexibility for both employers and employees but also added complexities from a compensation and administrative standpoint. Our vertical fintech platform enables companies to seamlessly onboard, pay and insure their workforces.

We’re building the best product for the entertainment industry but operate in a 50B market and have big goals we want to achieve. With over 130M USD raised from Andreessen Horowitz, Equal Ventures, Uncork Capital, Jeffrey Katzenberg and CAA co-founder Michael Ovitz, we are at an exciting stage of growth and there isn’t a better time to join!

The Opportunity - Copywriter - (Remote - USA / CANADA)

Wrapbook creates blog posts, guides, emails, customer stories, digital ads, videos, social media posts, and more to support marketing efforts for brand, demand, and product marketing. We are looking for a Copywriter that will own the voice and tone, creating and managing compelling and engaging copy across several marketing channels. These include—but are not limited to—emails, ad copy, landing pages, case studies, and social. This position will also help us shape our brand voice.

You are a dedicated copywriter and editor who fully understands the power of well-constructed messaging across all channels. You have a firm grasp of voice and tone and know how to make it apparent in different form factors. You are a stickler for proper style, grammar, and punctuation. You have a keen sense of your audience and how to best leverage various marketing channels. You know how to build relationships and trust with that audience through consistent messaging, strategic use of channels, and economy of words. You’re an independent worker and love to take projects from start to finish, knowing when to ask questions.

What you’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with other marketing teams to create high-leverage artifacts, including product landing pages, websites for flagship events, and comms materials for major launches and announcements
  • Serve as an editorial gatekeeper for emails, ensuring fidelity to voice and tone, consistency, and proper volume to avoid damaging user trust.
  • Create sales enablement assets such as customer stories, one-pagers, white papers, and other templated forms.
  • Manage the production of digital ad copy, paid social copy, and other demand-generation assets, overseeing a team of contractors and ensuring each asset maintains Wrapbook brand standards
  • Work closely with designers and other creative professionals on the brand team.
  • When applicable, manage contract copywriters for larger projects.
  • Take UX writers’ research and create and test content for apps, websites, and other digital products, ensuring consistency in UX content with industry standards.
  • Ensure content maintains highest compliance standards, working with in-house experts.

We think you'll be an amazing fit for this position if your application can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a marketing copywriter and/or editor across all available channels, preferably with broad experience across form factors
  • Experience working with Brand, Product, Corporate, and regional teams, with an understanding of the subtle differences required to succeed in each context
  • A passion for copywriting and a deep understanding of the importance and power of well constructed messaging.
  • Nice to haves:
    • Experience working with creative or design teams
    • Creative agency experience
    • Understanding of larger marketing organizations
    • Broad understanding of the mechanics and objectives of many marketing and user communication functions
