Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will support Paycor’s Finance team to ensure company financial goals/objectives are met monthly, quarterly and annually. This position will provide assistance to the existing members of the team in the areas of corporate finance and reporting, financial planning and analysis, and sales reporting and analysis.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of monthly reporting packages including detailed financial analysis.
  • Maintain and improve key revenue forecasting models.
  • Assist with forecasting by recording actual results and projecting future results based on historical performance and expected future performance against quotas.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic financial plans.
  • Assist with the commission payments process and regular audits to properly reflect sales credit and commission earnings.
  • Provide analysis support for various SaaS metrics including penetration rates, attachment rates, retention rates, customer acquisition cost, annual contract value, and lifetime value.
  • Assist with preparation of financial information and presentations to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
  • Support creation of financial models for new and existing products.
  • Assist on development projects for new services, billing, reporting, commission and similar projects.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and analysis for cross-functional departments and management as requested.
  • Generate scenario and ad-hoc analyses on critical business and financial dimensions to provide decision support for senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Ability to independently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Must be flexible, well organized and able to work well under pressure.
  • High level of ownership of assigned tasks and independent initiative to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a professional demeanor and positive experience working alone or with a team.Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in simple terms to diverse audiences.
  • Strong accounting, conceptual, and analytical skills; ability to work in in a dynamic environment and recommend and implement process improvements and creative solutions.
  • Strong Excel skills should include experience analyzing large quantities of data, creating complex formulas, pivots, and developing models.
  • Adaptive Insights, OfficeConnect, PowerPivot, PowerBI, and SalesForce.com experience a plus.

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. In addition to base pay ($54,800 - $87,707), Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on the position.
