We’re searching for a Staff Accountant, reporting to the Manager of Revenue Accounting who will assist with month-end closing and day-to-day operations of revenue accounting and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries for accounts receivable and revenue recognition transactions
• Prepare accounts receivable account reconciliations, investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct transaction level testing for accounts receivable and revenue
• Assist with financial audits including drafting memos, preparing account schedules, and other supporting documentation
• Work closely with the data analytics team to build reports to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable close process
• Monitor accounts receivable collections and delinquency rates
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for the management team
• Assist with accounting policies and procedures documentation
• Prepare and/or review GAAP technical documentation
• Assist in design, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of internal controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and Company policies & procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience, preferred
• CPA, preferred
• Public accounting experience, preferred
• Must be able to efficiently and independently manage projects and issues
• Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to retain and protect confidential material
