Job Description:

As an assistant project manager at CourseCareers, you will play a pivotal role in our mission by contributing to various aspects of our educational programs. This position requires an A-player who is exceptionally talented, hardworking, and possesses a high level of intelligence. We expect a high level of output and this will be a high-pressure position. This position will be specifically focused on expanding offerings into the construction industry. If you are up for a challenge and eager to make a difference, this role will be both rewarding and fulfilling.

Attention:

This is a very fast paced position that requires a lot of hustle, grit, and intelligence. We don't have set work hours, but you are expected to work until the job is completed, whether that takes 20 hours or 60 hours, productivity is up to you. This is a high pressure position but the upside potential is endless when it comes to promotions and compensation.

Responsibilities:

  • Course Creation: Assist in expanding course offerings by conducting market research, interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), identifying potential instructors, and supporting them through the course creation process. Collaborate with instructors to enhance course content and contribute to marketing efforts.
  • Course Optimization: Review and analyze current course offerings, assess content effectiveness through data and analytics, and work closely with instructors to improve course efficiency and student engagement.
  • Whatever else we decide to throw at you, there will be A LOT!

Requirements:

  • Background in tech project/product management or analytics
  • Previous online course experience and/or certifications
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and improve educational content.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with instructors and team members.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Openness to constructive criticism and a drive to continuously improve.
  • An understanding of learning science and its application in education.
  • Ability to identify high-quality content and deliver impactful learning experiences.
  • Willingness to work 50 hour+ weeks
  • Must be located in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a startup environment.
  • Previous work or education with course creation/online education companies
  • Willingness to work on weekends when required.
  • Demonstrated dedication to going above and beyond expectations.
  • Experience working for a content creator
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
