Analyzes information technology (IT) requirements in business processes, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration across (IT) teams. An exciting opportunity has risen for a Senior Functional Test Analyst to join our Data Migration project to migrate data into a Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft Data Verse environment for UK Police force. Engineers will form part of a large project delivery team based within the UK.

Especially for the Senior role we need good core mapping skills and someone that can interpret data mapping transformation requirements from source to target systems understanding the Dynamics CRM data model.

The product will be based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, with a high-level technology solution outlined below:

• New case management system with multi-channel communication capability delivered using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service with Dynamics 365 Omnichannel overlay
• New client facing website and related employer and employee portals delivered using Microsoft PowerApps Portals technology
• Integration between the underpinning data layer of Dynamics 365 and PowerApps known as the Dataverse and the Capita Hartlink Pension platform using a mixture of Dataverse virtual tables and two-way synchronization of data tables held in both systems
• Export of data out of the Dataverse in near real-time using the Dynamics 365 Azure Synapse capability with data being pushed out to an Azure Data Lake and then passed to the Capita Experience Dynamic Data reporting platform using Azure Data Factory

What you'll be doing:

• Ensuring there are a defined and fully managed set of business requirements and acceptance criteria at all stages of a project lifecycle, adhering to the Digital Development Centre Evolve methodology for medium to large sized projects.
• Ensuring the right skilled resource is available for relevant programmes.
• To act as the face of the Business Analysts team to all internal and external stakeholders and be the escalation point for all issues related to the delivery of the requirements
• Able to advise on the most appropriate techniques to use for modelling and documenting current and future state for a process, system, product, or service.
• Able to lead on evaluating and establishing requirements using the relevant techniques and takes responsibility for the investigation and implementation of changes to project or programme scope.
• Able to direct business analysis including the discovery of information and evidence, and the identification of problems and opportunities.
• Managing, understanding and communicating the financial and operational impact of any changes, undertaking Impact Assessments, collation of estimates, etc.
