LastPass is looking for an Associate Security Engineer:

Associate Security Engineers will monitor an intake queue to assist in troubleshooting and diagnostics of cutting-edge security solutions that cover workstations, cloud resources, and identities. This resource will be expected to excel in technical, security-centric customer service to provide a great end-user experience in troubles they may be having in their day-to-day operations.

Who will you work with?

As an Associate Security Engineer in the Security Engineering branch of the DA3RT team, you will be on the front-line of ensuring operability of LastPass’ security controls, while minimizing down-time to the business.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

• Respond to reports of security control interruptions to our end-users, such as workstation performance, secure web gateway connectivity, and blocking of business processes that may require adjustments.
• Diagnose and resolve reported issues across EDR, SASE, PAM and other technical controls.
• Work with and communicate clearly to end-users the steps being taken to restore services and escalate critical (P1) issues to management.
• Provide recommended configuration changes to the Sr. Security Engineers & Security Engineering management team.
• Maintain a quick turnaround to end-users on reported issues and abide by internal SLAs.
• Own each ticket from creation to resolution, utilizing effective time management, scheduling, and follow through.
• Create and update SOPs to expedite troubleshooting steps for information sharing, self-servicing, and knowledge transfer throughout the Security Engineering organization.
  
  

What does it take to work at LastPass?

• Security focused customer-service background with experience in restoration of services impacted by technical controls.
• Experience in SWG (secure web gateway) and ZTNA solutions such as Cloudflare One, Prisma Access, and ZScaler ZIA/ZPA.
• Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting EDR and privileged access management solutions.
• Experience with general technical troubleshooting in which a clearly defined issue may not be known, such as “workstation slowness”.
• Track record of acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Remote first, but willingness and ability to travel up to 15%
