We are an Everyday Carry Product company specializing in minimalist products, headlined by our flagship product The Ridge Wallet. The Ridge Wallet started as a Kickstarter project in 2013 and is now in the hands and pockets of over 3 million people worldwide! We currently operate around the globe selling in the US, Canada, the UK, EU, and Australia on Shopify and through other channels such as Amazon and Wholesalers. We are a fully remote company and are very excited to expand into the Eastern European market to continue to grow our team! We currently have a US-based team of just over 50 people! We currently employ over 60+ international contractors around the world! While this may seem like a lot of people, each department only ranges from 2 - 10 people, which opens up a lot of opportunities for growth and advancement. Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Write SEO-optimized articles that are in line with our brand voice and style, while sufficiently hitting our standards and goals according to our assessment tools.
- Master using our writing tools (GDocs, Trello, Grammarly, Clearscope) to produce, manage, and review content.
- Independently learn and apply Everyday Carry (EDC) knowledge to your writing to provide valuable information to our audience.
- Be able to write at a consistent pace for regular weekly output while having the ability to spot and correct standard grammar and spelling errors, more minute details like double spacing, and inconsistencies in brand trademarks and measurements.
- Be able to take general direction and key concepts from the rest of the team and synthesize that information into our guide format while hitting all best practices, scoring, and formatting goals.
- Continuously update your knowledge about SEO optimization practices and EDC trends to ensure our content stays relevant and engaging.
Ideal Profile
Job Requirements
- Proven writing experience, preferably in SEO optimization, with a strong portfolio demonstrating writing skills and the ability to adapt to brand voice and style.
- Familiarity with GDocs, Trello, Grammarly, and Clearscope (or willingness to learn).
- Excellent attention to detail regarding style, grammar, spelling, and the ability to research industry-specific information for high accuracy when writing.
- A firm grasp of EDC knowledge or willingness to learn.
- A unique writing style or voice that sounds more natural than AI-generated content.
- The ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
