We are seeking a strong UI/UX designer to join our Emerging Platforms team. This person will play a pivotal role in the creation of innovative engaging experiences to publish on unproven or new platforms. We expect this role will lead multiple concurrent projects, as well as owning UI/UX for games in development. In partnership with the Art Director, this role will be responsible for visual style while supporting our fundamental Art & Design pillars.

The UI/UX Designer will work closely with the Producer, Art Director, Game Designer, Product Manager, and Engineers to help design, mock and implement feature UI and UX flows.

  • Develop player-facing interfaces from concept through to completion.
  • Rapidly iterate interface in line with the game art direction.
  • Present and complete optimum guidelines for workflow and visuals.
  • Craft streamlined user experiences (for mobile or otherwise)
  • Visual design skills with regard to color theory, layout and typography.
  • Ability to tackle problems creatively and effectively.
  • Experience shipping multiple apps or games with a proven workflow
  • Ownership of multiple features and being able to handle your workload independently.
  • Prioritize what’s best for the project and ensure the work fits within the team's capacity.
  • A clear understanding of how to work with other members of a cross discipline team.
  • Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, technologies, and competitor products.
  • Diagnose technical issues with interaction and work with engineers to resolve them.
  • Optimize performance of the UI systems to run on multiple devices and platforms.
  • Knowledge of Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other design tools.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $74,000 and $110,000 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
