Description
We're looking for our first multi-disciplinary Brand Designer. They'll elevate the Magical brand as an industry-leader. They'll visualize the promise of our bold initiative to empower everyone to automate their soul-crushing tasks. They'll produce brand assets and experiences that will be used across marketing and product.
You will report to the Head of Design. You'll partner with Marketing, Product, and Product Designers on our remote-first team.
Key Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Refine and execute our visual language as an extension of the brand (icons, colors, typography, etc.)
- Create reusable artifacts such as landing pages, animations, illustrations, display ads, presentation templates, and various types of documents.
- Shape our website and web properties
- Distill complex product concepts into simple animations and illustrations
- Contribute to Magical's brand standards
- Collaborate with Content Marketing, and others, to establish a clear and concise brand voice, tone, and personality
- Collaborate with Developers and Marketing to produce landing pages and experiences to acquire new customers
- Collaborate with Product Design to create and maintain a cohesive and consistent brand experience between Marketing and Product
- Continually iterate on concepts in an effort to make the brand relevant and relatable to our audiences
Skills Knowledge And Expertise
About you:
- At least 2 years experience in an agency or in-house startup environment
- Outstanding portfolio of animation, illustration, and web design work
- Excellence in visual design and typographic skills
- Proficient animation and illustration skills
- Experience creating web landing pages
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects)
- Bonus: worked with Webflow
