Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement safe, secure and performant decentralized platforms with the latest development tools and provide expertise in the development and calibration of software. Perform the system design and implementation of the back-end architecture.

Deploy systems on private and commodity clouds using rapid prototyping and orchestration technologies. Ensure the software involves distributed storage and high-performance execution runtimes for virtual machines. Write design documentation by programming in system assembly languages. Build, design, and implement software features and distributed system. Identify technical issues, assist in problem analysis, and provide software solutions. Develop synchronous fault-tolerant algorithms and asynchronous networking, safe distributed systems (byzantine and crash-tolerant) to ensure against component failure.

Design systems to secure data protection and analyze technology. Review research papers in the field regarding distributed systems, storage, databases, operating systems, and runtimes to design systems. Participate in technical discussions and review of design documentation at all phases of the project, documenting and deploying new software functionalities. Work closely with programming language technologies experts to ensure execution engines run correctly and efficiently. Work closely with product engineers to ensure the platforms support the transactions and operations required by users. Monitor functioning of equipment and provide performance tuning to ensure the software operates in conformance with specifications. Monitor alarms, symptoms diagnosis, perform root cause analysis, and employ preventative measures to avoid reoccurrence of similar issues. Develop, run and monitor software system testing or validation programming. Utilize cryptography, blockchain protocol and management and REST API design.

Telecommuting permitted.

Salary: $160,000 to $220,000 per year

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related and 24 months experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
