Position Overview

As a member of the product management team, the business analyst is responsible for ensuring all relevant stakeholders understand the technical behavior of the application. Technical product managers work with project managers, product owners, product managers, development teams, architecture team, support resources and implementation resources to help each group understand how the product impacts the end user and, ultimately, the profitability of the product. Working with product managers, technical product managers help other product team members evaluate and prioritize technical issues.

This position offers growth opportunities as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Developer.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Synthesize information from across the enterprise to identify needed technical product improvements
  • Work with project managers, product owners and customers to align customer expectations with feature behavior
  • Research and answer technical product questions from sales, account management, implementation, and support
  • Help identify backlog dependencies amongst teams
  • Work with product owners, development teams, and technical writers to produce implementation guides, diagrams and technical specifications
  • Work with the core development team to understand proprietary coding languages and manage scripts associated with the language
  • Work with implementation teams to ensure they are correctly using and implementing proprietary scripts

Qualifications

  • High energy with a passion for problem solving
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • College degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of a software programing language

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge core banking platform (Symitar, DNA, etc).
  • Experience with Online Account and Loan Origination systems.
