Scope of Role

As our Security and Compliance Specialist you will be key in providing technical guidance and expertise to our Sales Engineering and Account teams predominately at the initial stages of the sales cycle. You will be the subject matter expert for all matters security related helping guide our overall security and governance architecture to customers across EMEA.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced and innovative security professional with exceptional stakeholder management skills and who has the ability to advise and deliver strategic outcomes across a wide range of industry sectors and challenging environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to security engagements in field sales, analyze customer requirements and provide effective responses and solutions to account teams, solutions engineers and customers
  • Responsible for day-to-day coverage of cybersecurity in pre-sales engagements
  • Effectively communicate and promote cybersecurity posture and best practices to sales and solution engineering teams
  • Promote training and awareness of cybersecurity best practices and concepts, contribute to enablement, conduct internal and external workshops
  • Collaborate with Trust, Product, and RFP teams and contribute to knowledge-based tools
  • Contribute to process improvements of team processes, templates, and tools
  • Research and maintain an understanding of current and emerging cybersecurity trends, regulations, and technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in a technical or customer facing role as an information or cybersecurity analyst, specialist, solutions engineer or equivalent
  • Professional training or education in cybersecurity a plus, including certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CEH
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS
  • Broad understanding of cybersecurity and technical concepts including UC/SaaS, cloud technologies, networking, desktop and mobile systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage with a variety of people effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to determine or drive solutions to meet customer requirement
