Product Manager

The Product Manager/Product Owner reports to the Director of Product Management and will have the responsibility for driving innovation and managing across multiple LeadVenture products and services. The role is considered an invaluable member of the team and must have the vision and drive to succeed.

Oversee the development of all stages of the product lifecycle including product marketing and planning. Coordinate product development through the complete product lifecycle including defect management, ideation, research, design, pricing, marketing, sales, and distribution.

This includes assessing and prioritizing customer and market requirements, authoring business requirements, working closely with development, customer support and sales to deliver market-leading products. Communicate your vision and build buy-in with the CEO and Executive Team, and across the business.

Here is more of what you’ll get to do:

  • Oversee the work of cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and technical groups to drive product vision, define product requirements, and manage products.
  • Translate requirements into clear epics and user stories.
  • Develop and test product concepts and ideas across customer segments
  • Develop marketing tactical plans for each product area in conjunction with other appropriate departments.
  • Develop tactical plans to drive adoption and reduced churn.
  • Plan and lead successful product launches.
  • Identify appropriate target markets, analyze market trends and competitive innovation.
  • Maintain confidential marketing plans (positioning, tactics, pricing, ect.) and communicate them as necessary to appropriate personnel.
  • Support selling activities, including development of sales tools and collateral.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing; advanced degree desirable.
  • A track record of success in an agile environment, defining, managing, and launching industry leading software.
  • Product management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project etc.).

Specialized Skills Or Abilities

  • Software product management experience.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and to work effectively with customers, service, development and sales groups.
  • In-depth understanding of technology frameworks and the software development lifecycle.
  • Agile development processes.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
