Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain long-standing relationships with national and regional KOLs, commercial speaker bureau faculty and advisors.
  • Support commercial KOL impact-mapping initiatives by developing profiles and engagement / communication plans for top KOLs.
  • Monitor KOL insights about current and future treatment patterns that may impact the commercial strategy and provide feedback for consideration.
  • Attend and coordinate local, regional, and national congresses and facilitate meetings with KOLs.
  • Work cross functionally to identify and recruit KOLs for national and regional faculty and speaker boards.
  • Execute commercial advisory boards.
  • Speaker bureau management and speaker training.
  • Work with speaker bureau vendor on all logistical aspects of the national speaker bureau.
  • Assess speaker utilization and program logistics to ensure compliance with internal corporate policies and guidelines.
  • Plan and execute LTC and VA managed markets marketing programs.
  • Key contributor to brand planning process inclusive of strategic and tactical development.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with other functional areas (i.e., Sales, Managed Markets, Sales Training, Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Market Research, and Commercial/Marketing Operations) and through those relationships, advances product or portfolio opportunities.
  • Update and maintain budget responsibilities for key marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance in all activities related to pharmaceutical marketing.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or related experience / Graduate degree in life sciences preferred Minimum (or equivalent). Preferred 2-4 years of product management/marketing experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to appropriately represent the commercial team in all internal and external settings.
  • Willingness to travel :30% domestically.
  • Experience in respiratory preferred.
  • Strong scientific acumen and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to listen actively and synthesize information in a meaningful way.
  • Strong understanding of the laws, regulations and rules governing the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of respiratory market is preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience required.
  • Hands on, roll-up your sleeves approach.
  • Superior platform/presentation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiations skills.
  • Excellent project management expertise and budgeting skills.
  • Demonstrate strong bottom-line orientation with significant financial, budget and P&L experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Preference for action versus reaction, ability to focus on important drivers of business versus tangents, strategic thinking skills and ability to present to and motivate large audiences.
  • Capability for future career growth important.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organization.
  • Ability to solve equations, apply mathematical concepts, and perform computations.
  • Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
  • Typically sitting at a desk or table. Intermittently sitting, standing, walking or stooping. Periodic travel is required.
  • Remote Work with possibility of attending live meetings as needed.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
