The Payroll Assistant will support the Payroll Manager with payroll processes and payroll administration for several European countries ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time to ensure best practice and compliance.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Co-ordinates and collates monthly payroll inputs across multiple European countries, liaising with the 3rd party payroll provider to ensure the correct information is processed in respect of starters, leavers, and changes.
  • Works in coordination with HR to gather inputs on various payroll components issues as needed.
  • Tracks and processes benefit in kind documentation according to local regulations eg P11D's (UK) or co-ordinates through local provider as required
  • Co-ordinates applicable year end documentation through local payroll provider
  • Tracks PTO accrual per country, working in conjunction with HR.
  • Applies LOA policies per country, with guidance from HR/local payroll provider as required
  • Managing and filing mailbox into appropriate countries
  • Working alongside HR to maintain up-to -date information on all systems (HR & Payroll)
  • Stays current on payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR benefits to ensure effective accounting support.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for payroll queries to employees
  • Audits payroll records per employee and reconciles totals by dept, country etc.
  • Promotes privacy awareness, manages and oversees the deployment of Data Protection Regulations and Data Protection Policies
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • High School Diploma or local equivalent

Other Required:

  • Prior experience working in administration environment.
  • No routine travel is expected for this position; however, occasional travel may be required either domestically or internationally to attend company meetings or for training as applicable

  • Strong PC skills and able to thrive in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly. Good oral and written communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build relationships with management and others throughout the organization
  • Exhibits self-motivation, and is able to work and plan independently as well as in a team environment
  • Team player with a desire to be an active, long-term participant in the growth of the company
  • High Level of Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management skills
