The Financial Analyst is responsible for detailed financial planning and analysis for specific aspects of the VXsmart, VXretail, and VXexchange Operations. This position works closely with the other members of the FP&A Team to ensure revenue, costs, CapEx, and cash flow are well understood by senior management.

Essential Job Duties

• Complete all aspects of the month-end financial reporting requirements in an accurate and timely manner
• Perform variance analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Provide recommendations to various levels of management to support strategic decision-making
• Prepare annual budget and periodic forecast updates
• Prepare accounting journal entries for routine monthly transactions
• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 related to SaaS revenue recognition
• Track and maintain sales commissions via Salesforce and in-depth communications with the sales team
• Update client revenue in ORM Revenue Analytics software monthly including linking revenue to Salesforce accounts, normalizing revenue for timing differences, identifying new and terminated client accounts
• Track ARR by product and contracted revenue not in service yet
• Calculate client retention on Gross and Net basis
• Ad hoc projects

Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of Financial Analyst experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate Microsoft Dynamics 365 skills preferred
• Knowledge of Vena FP&A Software preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Make recommendations for process improvement
• Highly motivated and proactive with an extreme attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate across multiple departments
