About the role
As a member of WorldRemit’s Payroll team you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long term decision making.
Reporting to the Global Payroll Manager, you will:
- Work with Payroll manager to create/maintain effective internal controls for the payroll function and proactively work with business partners to ensure and identify gaps in current processes
- Perform Data cleanse exercise and analysis on all payroll and benefit platforms
- Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of all Global payroll practices.
- Identify and implement payroll process improvements and best practices to drive excellence to eliminate manual processes
- Partner with other departments regarding operational process links to maximise efficiencies.
- Identify and undertake 'added value' project work to improve the quality of data held in the systems and provide a better user experience
- Produce timely and accurate payroll reconciliations
- Assist with the BAU alongside Payroll Specialist, as and when required
What we’re looking for from you
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Previous experience of seeking and suggesting continual process improvements, when identified through daily processing
- Experience of processing transactions on multiple customer platforms
- A background in investigating and resolving complex pay queries
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Advanced Excel (experience with Macro desirable)
- Workday System experience preferable
