Paper is looking for a talented designer to join its PaperLive team. In this role, you will be vital in creating next-level educational content that not only champions the Paper brand but is fun. You will collaborate with our producers, hosts and other designers on the marketing team to ensure the content is successful. The right candidate will be familiar with designing in a variety of mediums and eager to build on that experience.

This position can be located in any geography in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Support the PaperLive team in its design initiatives, creating effective and engaging content.
• Be comfortable in a variety of design formats (digital, animation, etc.).
• Contribute to all parts of the design process under the direction of PaperLive Producers.
• Think of new and fun ways to make content exciting and relatable.
• Stay current on the latest creative trends and technologies.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines, to ensure deadlines are met.
• Clearly communicate and collaborate with internal teams.
• Champion new ideas and design best-practices for cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Give and receive feedback, while sharing design decisions with teammates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in design or in a related field.
• Portfolio or work samples, showing experience.
• Experience in standard design and presentation applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, Sketch, InVision.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Comfortable working in Canva.
• Experience in video and motion graphics is preferred.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, social content creation and YouTube content creation is a plus.
