Role Summary

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for solving hard problems in a way that creates value for our customers and our business. Our product teams are cross-functional, generally comprised of a Product Manager, Product Designer, and Software Engineers. Product Managers are responsible for understanding our users, their patterns of behavior, and their core pain points to create software solutions that are valuable for our customers and viable for our business.

You will also drive execution with your team to innovate, design, build, and measure the success of solutions you develop. Shipping code and managing projects to completion is necessary, but not sufficient to achieve desired outcomes.

This job, as with the other roles on the product team, is an individual contributor role. You will need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through data, logic, and storytelling.

What You Will Do

• Lead a product team consisting of a Product Designer and Software Engineers to solve customer problems specific to a part of our overall product strategy
• Set clear objectives and key results which describe how your team’s work drives value for the business and our customers
• Ideate multiple solutions to customer problems and validate risks as early as possible in the development process, so that your solutions have the best chance of driving the desired outcome
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights from our customers, market research, and competitive analysis to inform your decision-making
• Write requirements documents to create clarity among the organization on what will be done and what will not
• Manage the product development process and schedule for your product team
• Work with Product Marketing to develop the GTM plan for new solutions, including training for current customers and for Sales to talk to prospects.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
• 2 years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
