The successful candidate will bring order to our chaos and support our continued rapid corporate growth, coordinating legal requests and facilitating contract review and execution. The Contract Administrator will report to our Legal Operations and Contracts Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, remote corporate environment with demonstrated success in managing multiple priority deadlines and same day requests. About your role:
- Work closely with the legal team to support the sales team, respond to various questions, and provide guidance relating to the designated contract platform
- Prepare contracts and/or amendments based on approved templates
- Track and coordinate contract redlines as necessary
- Track and coordinate review of credit applications and approvals
- Review sales agreements daily to ensure contract compliance
- Perform data entry and upload contracts in designated platforms
- Coordinate and process sales agreements on behalf of sale team members for signatures
- Develop knowledge and skills to become a subject matter expert with respect to the designated contract platform
- Conduct trainings on the designated contract platform, as needed
- Perform other duties assigned
Requirements and Skills:
- Associates Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in a corporate legal environment
- Minimum of one year managing redlines and coordination of contracts, preferred
- Must be a critical thinker, capability to identify areas of need, problem solver and team player
- Must be fast-paced, efficient, and have willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and track tasks, as well as collaborate with others
- Ability to work across departments and synthesize and collect information from multiple sources
- Ability to communicate clearly, tactfully, and effectively with potential clients, team members, attorneys and others as needed by mail, email, telephone, or in person using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Self-motivated, Self-Sufficient and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Developed organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and competing priorities and tasks to drive them to conclusion
- Ability to manage tasks at hand and work in a fast-paced environment with immediate to 24-hour response times.
- Ability to foster a collaborative environment in support of the achievement of business objectives
- Computer literacy required, including experience using Microsoft Office programs and SharePoint, with knowledge of advanced Word and Excel functions. Ability to learn new systems quickly
