POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources & Recruitment Assistant. This role will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including a focus on aspects of the recruitment process, onboarding, and providing general administrative support to the HR department.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Recruitment Support:
  • Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and job boards.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate pre-employment assessments.
  • Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings.
  • Onboarding and Orientation Support:
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork and ensure all required documents are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new employees, addressing questions and providing support during their transition.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting new hire check-ins.
  • HR Administration:
  • Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Assist in organizing HR-related events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence:
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Help maintain and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment law and HR best practices.
  • Support internal audits and investigations as required.
  • Ad-hoc special projects, and additional responsibilities and duties as required.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU’RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum 2 years of prior experience in an HR or recruitment role is required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently.
