POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources & Recruitment Assistant. This role will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including a focus on aspects of the recruitment process, onboarding, and providing general administrative support to the HR department.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and job boards.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate pre-employment assessments.
- Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings.
- Onboarding and Orientation Support:
- Coordinate new hire paperwork and ensure all required documents are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
- Serve as a point of contact for new employees, addressing questions and providing support during their transition.
- Assist in organizing and conducting new hire check-ins.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Assist in organizing HR-related events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Help maintain and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
- Stay informed about changes in employment law and HR best practices.
- Support internal audits and investigations as required.
- Ad-hoc special projects, and additional responsibilities and duties as required.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU’RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum 2 years of prior experience in an HR or recruitment role is required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently.
