The Role

Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, the Front End React engineer role will work remotely or hybrid in NYC . Apploi recently launched a new front-end architecture ( diagram ) based on React, Typescript, Nx/monorepo, Tailwind, and Storybook.

Who You Are

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• At least 2 years experience in React.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and desire to succeed
• Adaptability to new initiatives

What You’ll Do

• Work in React to create effective, mobile-friendly experiences for our users (job seekers and recruiters)
• Contribute to our Living Style Guide/Design System & reusable Shared Component Library ( Storybook ) by working directly with Product Designers. [Previous experience scaling/contributing to component libraries is a major plus. Strong layout (Flexbox/Grid) and component architecture skills are a major plus.]
• Consume and handle data efficiently. [We use Python on the backend so previous Python experience is a plus (but not required). Experience scaling APIs (BFF/GraphQL) is a major plus.]
• Work with the team to produce clean, performant, and tested code while participating in code reviews and architectural discussions.
