Accountable for authoring and completing key RFP responses for the WEX Global Fleet/Mobility line of business. Has the ability to author technical documentation, and deliver detailed proposals on time, in order to help expand market share, and win key RFPs across our largest account base. Role is responsible for managing multiple priorities, under tight time frames, and with aggressive deadlines. Initiatives will focus on retention of key accounts, and acquiring new lines of business. The successful candidate has mastery of technical writing, bundling information in a way that is impactful and meaningful, and collaborating with key stakeholders across the sales, marketing, relationship management, and product teams. It is critical that this person is a team player, and can work cross-functionally to achieve goals in a collaborative environment, but yet work independently and own the end result.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

RFP Responses/Technical Writer

• Oversees writing, editing, and authenticating of technical materials.
• Analyzes and interprets data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage required for documents.
• Selects graphics to be incorporated in literature.
• Author technical documentation including responses to RMI’s and RFP’s, in order to help WEX with retention of key accounts, and acquisition of new lines of business.
• Work to complete projects on time in an environment where new RMI/RFPs may have aggressive deadlines, tight timing, and be presented at inopportune times.
• Learn technical product features.
• Work with sales, product, and relationship management teams to: Identify critical information, understand what is important to the specific client and boil down technical product specifications and information into a meaningful value proposition.
• Synthesize information, extract relevant insights, and determine what is important for each proposal, on a case by case basis.
• Coordinate deliverables and approvals across departments including but not limited to: finance, sales, legal, etc.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $67,500.00 - $90,000.00
