THE OPPORTUNITY (AKA: Why you want this role over any other out there)

We are looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role will partner with our Product and Engineering leadership to develop accurate forecasts, guide financial decisions and provide insights.

What You’ll Achieve

• Deliver excellent business partnership to our Product and Engineering groups to help manage the budget, provide visibility on risks and opportunities, and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Identify and measure key metrics for Product and Engineering FP&A that drive business outcomes.
• Partner with the business and FP&A leads to provide analytical support for ad-hoc projects related to workforce planning, personnel expense, monthly budgets, and other items
• Provide detailed data analysis and reports that track budget trends and forecast future needs
• Update forecast with risks and opportunities to current plan, rolling forecasts
• Drive efficiency in our processes and reporting to scale for growth.
• Ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in Finance
• Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving
• Advanced Excel modeling skills
• Strong Powerpoint presentation skills
• Understanding of Accrual-Based Accounting
• Well organized and goal oriented
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
• Intellectually curious, self-starter who is not afraid to seek out projects independently
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Adaptive experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with Product and Engineering organizations preferred
