About The Role

Credible is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and process driven Operations Specialist I to join our team. As a member of the Loan Operations team, you will use your meticulous attention to detail to process clients’ loan requests. Your analytical skills will be utilized for a variety of qualitative tasks and ensure our clients’ loans are processed accurately. In this role, you’ll get to work in an expanding and constantly changing environment, where you’ll use your problem-solving skills to deal with complex and interesting challenges on a daily basis. You will play a meaningful role on this team with opportunities for advancement.

You Will:

• Evaluate, analyze and process customer requests for student loan refinancing and student loans with ad-hoc assistance in other verticals and support for recurring projects across the business as required.
• Generate outbound calling campaigns in coordination with the customer success team to gather necessary information from clients before loan submission.
• Identify submitter bugs with occasional testing of tickets to address them.
• With the rest of the team track, monitor, collect, and upload reporting for lenders from multiple verticals.
• Take on increasingly more challenging roles and projects beyond the core Loan Operations team responsibilities

Education and Experience:

• BA/BS or higher in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Economics, or related fields preferred. Equivalent work experience is also considered.
• Banking, lending or financial background and experience desired, but a demonstrable ability to accept new challenges and learn things quickly also considered.
• Must be willing to work independently with minimal supervision and have a collaborative team first mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and G-Suite products is desired.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay ranges for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, are listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
