As a Mortgage Product Manager, you will be the voice of the borrower, identify opportunities, and understand the borrowers’ pain points around how they go through the lending journey from consumer financing to mortgage refi with Sales, Ops, Credit Risks, Compliance and Post-Closing teams. This role will drive and contribute to the product ideation, discovery, definition, strategy, implementation and develop long-term innovation vision to modernize mortgage tech. Prioritize our product goals, roadmaps, trade-offs, and share these priorities with the larger teams. Will conduct day-in-the-life shadow sessions with Sales and Operations and apply your learnings to collaborate with a team of researchers and analysts to run UXR, and usability studies for product solutions. Be an influencer to lead and engage a cross-functional team of Engineering, UX, Sales, Operations, Credit Risks, Compliance, Marketing and Business Strategy. Establish, monitor, and measure success metrics after launch. Consistently integrate behavior data and customer feedback into key product decisions.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support lead pipeline management, loan origination, and overall lending platform initiatives through analytical projects to align stakeholder buy-in, conduct strategic insights discovery, gather requirements.
  • Lead product ideation, discovery, planning and implementation of projects, milestones, and timelines.
  • Lead UAT testing and set appropriate timeline for testing through project completion.
  • Engage Dev/QA early on with product idea in the discovery phase. Provide clarity and guidance when working with developers to solve technical and analytical issues. Deliver high quality requirements to engineering under time pressure and on defined deadlines.
  • Manage business requests, backlog, and iteration planning. Lead Sprint Planning meetings and work with leadership for resource allocations and communicate priorities. Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared deliverables for each Sprint.
  • Monitor and establish a communication schedule to report on progress to all stakeholders and implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Ability to help write, plan, and execute on the product roadmap.

  • Qualification in project management or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools

$150,000 - $180,000 a year

In addition to the above salary, this role may be eligible for a bonus and equity.
