This position

We are looking for a full stack software engineer who will be part of a development team with feature ownership delivering capabilities to the DocuSign agreement cloud. We are looking for an engineer with the ability to work in the full tech stack with a focus and interest on the look and feel of the DocuSign UI. You should have experience from driving and being part of architectural discussions and decisions, both backend and frontend.

A strong technical background and strive for innovation is crucial to be able to evaluate and decide on solutions that are beneficial for the future. The UI is built with React, react-hooks and redux-toolkit, Typescript and Node. In the backend we use state of the art frameworks related to JAVA, NodeJS, C# etc.

You will also be involved in architecting, implementing and maintaining some of DocuSign’s highest scale services. Build APIs to power the next generation of DocuSign’s customer multi-screen experiences that are responsive, highly performant and AI driven. Help drive developer efficiencies through engineering best practices, automation, CI/CD. Work with world class telemetry systems to work through complex problems and solve them with data

Experience from writing tests and automation is a must.

General tools that are used and good to be familiar with are JIRA, GIT, Confluence.

This position is an Individual Contributor reporting to an Engineering Manager or similar.

Responsibilities

• Performing development tasks within the team
• Writing automated test to support our test processes
• Being a part of solution and vision discussions in the team
• Securing key KPI’s of the product such as performance, scaling and upgradeability/maintainability
• Driving your own work and securing progress with own responsibility
• Taking part in team meetings and communication with PM and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Experience as a Software Engineer or a similar Java role
• Experience working with React, react-hooks and redux-toolkit
• Strong understanding and experience in agile methodologies
• Fluency in English
• Test and automation background
• Docker (Compose, Swarm, Kubernetes)
• Solr (Lucene Index)
• Spring and Similar frameworks
• Experience with Highly Scalable and Highly Available Systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for new technologies
• Experience in autonomous environment
• A track record of being a self-starter - Individual/team responsibility is our main driver in the development work.
