The Product Owner responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prioritize and assess work for the scrum team
• Write and develop user stories with clear acceptance criteria while defining that criteria
• Utilize data, analysis, and user feedback to make decisions and influence others
• Groom and prioritize backlog
• Plan and coordinate releases and upgrades
• Actively manage progress of work and address production issues during sprints
• Lead Agile execution ceremonies with the engineering team: sprint planning, story refinement, daily stand up, sprint review, and retrospective
• Act as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders
• Track and report on product Net Promoter Score (NPS)
• Work closely with Product Management colleagues to ensure alignment
• Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
• Assist the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint

Skills And Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field - or relevant experience
• Open to high-growth environment, platform migrations and resolving tech debt
• Motivated by organizing chaos and fixing problems
• Previous work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in high growth product management
• Proven experience creating effective business requirements and user stories
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
• Technical background with knowledge of software development and SaaS technologies
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively and actively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders and resources
• Comfort with ambiguity; demonstrated track record of developing solutions to problems
• Ability to earn the trust of customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals; excellent written and verbal communication skills
