Job Description:

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with strong illustration skills to join our growing Creative team. This is a critical

and exciting role that will help define and design the visual experience of our student lessons. By creating all visual

assets necessary for lesson videos, digital checkpoints and instructional materials used by students and teachers, you

will be the point person to lead design cohesion across all.

What You'll Do:

• Work closely with Content Authors and production team to develop design concepts and create necessary design deliverables in an agile and collaborative environment
• Create a variety of assets including custom illustrations, templates and other visual elements with adherence to established quality and brand design standards
• Select, edit and process photos for video and digital lesson use
• Lead design cohesion across various touch points by having deep knowledge of existing assets and looking ahead to future needs.
• Integrate team feedback effectively by knowing when to push the details and when to prioritize speed
• Manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Identify and deliver continuous improvements to internal process and systems
• Stay current on best practice and advances in digital asset optimization
• Develop deep understanding of the business, design and user needs, while delivering on our mission of providing an exceptional education to all children

Ideal candidates will have:

• Must have experience designing for young children
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional quality in graphic design and illustration
• Professional level knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Technical understanding of file types and proper image asset production, exporting, and management
• Solid understanding of the digital design process and its limitations
• Fluency with best practices in UI design, including accessibility compliance
• Ability to sell design concepts with adherence to business, user and company goals
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to own and run projects from concept to completion with little supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for educational technology and math

Location:

This role is fully remote, however you may be required to travel for business and team building meetings.
