BLOX Digital, a Digital Media Solutions software provider servicing the Digital Media and Broadcast industries is expanding. As a member of the Solutions Support team, our primary mission is to work with clients to address any issues they are encountering in a quick, efficient manner. Primarily we will be looking at our existing software stack for solutions or configurations that can be implemented to resolve any issues, or to provide the necessary support to create new functionality per customer requirements. This role will serve primarily to address technical issues relating to software implementation, function and upgrades. Working directly with Client Services and our Partners, the Solutions Support Engineer will work to identify creative solutions to practical application of our Content Management software.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Client Services with finding creative solutions to functionality requests within the platform
• Address customer concerns and issues regarding software installation and operation.
• Triage issues and coordinate fixes with Development.
• Work with Product Management to outline scope of feature requests should platform feature enhancements be deemed necessary
• Function as extension of development providing business validation for new development items
• Provide development support for template side customer customizations utilizing Javascript and our proprietry template language.

Requirements:

• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies; continual professional development with new software developments
• Experience in responsive web design and browser compatibility across multiple platforms and devices
• Experience in Javascript, HTML and CSS (PHP a plus)
• Experience with React preferred
• Experience with developing in a github/bitbucket environment
• Experience with the Blox platform and/or Wordpress preferred.
• Teamwork, ability to communicate well and solve problems creatively and effectively
• Knowledge of CMS Platforms a plus but not required
• Familiarity with UTL or Smarty template languages a plus
• Ability to prioritize issues and work at an efficient pace, which may include multi-tasking
• Strong work ethic and an extraordinary attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with Partners at all levels of the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience
