The Associate Software Engineer works with the Quality group to deliver on projects for the R&D group. We develop highly innovative customer facing applications in healthcare analytics to generate performance, improvement opportunities, and value for our clients. The role is positioned within the R&D Quality Group -- an incredibly diverse group of folks with the mission to provide value and improved care in healthcare – they possess passion with a purpose.

Responsibilities

• Work within the R&D Quality Team
• Design and implement new solutions in a cloud environment
• Learn new technologies and apply them to the problem space
• Peer review software changes by other developers
• Work closely with Lead/Sr. Software engineer on development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with relevant work experience
• Development using object-oriented methodologies
• Knowledge of Dependency Injection and SOLID principles
• Knowledge of Unit Testing and TDD concepts
• Knowledge of functional programming
• Knowledge and application of agile practices
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Angular 9+ and Typescript
• PrimeNG UI controls (or any other UI component library, added advantage)
• .NET, ASP.NET Core and C# 9+
• Knowledge of ANSI SQL:2016, Oracle (Primary), MS SQL Server (Secondary)
• Git
• Atlassian suite (added advantage)
• Jira
• Confluence
• Bitbucket
• Bamboo
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
