Position Summary

The Customer Onboarding Specialist acts as the customer’s trusted advisor providing a voice, support, guidance, and knowledge resources that will facilitate the achievement of their business objectives. This person will work best in a dynamic, fast paced environment to effectively manage a high volume of accounts.

Essential Functions

  • Implement strategies and processes that deliver consistent customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensures that onboarding processes are precisely executed to build a strong customer relationship foundation.
  • Utilize extensive product knowledge, problem solving skills and training to enhance customer engagements.
  • Creating training materials and maintain product knowledge base.
  • Coordinates with internal teams to access additional resources and facilitate the solutions and tools needed by customers.
  • Delivers customer feedback to internal teams identifying specific needs, new ideas, challenges, and product enhancement concepts.
  • Identifying upsell or repeat business opportunities and helping customers with financial inquiries.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing related field or equivalent in experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience supporting users of web-based software systems.
  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Proficient with new and existing technology.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Zoom, and CRM software.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Able to drive, fly and use other modes of travel as required
    • Must have a valid driver’s license in state of residence
    • Driving record must be deemed “insurable” by the company’s corporate insurance carrier
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
  • Ability to follow all safety requirements and policies

Work Environment

This position will be remote, with travel to client sites, tradeshows, and Tronair Headquarters in Swanton, OH.
