We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. As a Junior FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities of the company. You will be responsible for assisting in various financial processes, including the Annual Budget, monthly forecast, month-end closing, and reporting. Your keen analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments will contribute to the success of the organization.
Your tasks:
Annual Budget and Monthly Forecast Support:
• Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget and periodic monthly forecasts.
• Collaborate with department heads to gather financial inputs and validate data accuracy.
• Analyze and provide insights into budget variances and forecast updates.
Month-End Closing Process:
• Work closely with the Accounting team during the month-end closing process.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data for timely reporting.
• Reconcile financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
Monthly Reporting and KPI Reports:
• Prepare monthly financial reports and key performance indicator (KPI) reports.
• Identify trends, highlight significant changes, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Continuously improve the reporting process to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
Power BI Reports:
• Utilize Power BI and other data visualization tools to create insightful reports and dashboards.
• Present financial data in a clear and visually appealing manner for management review.
Participation in Internal and External Audits:
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary financial information and documentation.
• Assist in addressing audit queries and implementing audit recommendations.
Project Reports:
• Collaborate with project teams to analyze financial data related to specific projects.
• Generate project reports and track project financial performance.
Cash Flow Forecast and Analysis:
• Assist in cash flow forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for the organization.
• Analyze cash flow trends and propose strategies to optimize cash management.
Additional Ad-hoc Reports:
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests from various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct financial analysis as required to support decision-making..
Your profile:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization software is a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or other ERP Software is a plus
• Knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
