As a member of the Internal Security Team, you'll get to evaluate, deploy, maintain, and offboard IT and security tools intended to prevent security breaches and implementing relevant information security best practices and security standards to protect our people, processes, and technology.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with IT and relevant business units as needed to conduct assessments of the company’s security program, identifying any gaps, and creating and managing a roadmap to fill these gaps to ensure organizational resiliency.
  • Oversee management of Windows and Apple devices to bolster endpoint security and streamline device management operations using multiple mobile device management solutions.
  • Implement network security standards to ensure appropriate protections are in place for our remote workforce and corporate assets.
  • Design and build a vulnerability management program for our IT infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the company’s security and awareness training program, helping to harden the human element.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of industry trends and their impact on Blackpoint people, processes, and technologies, communicating these to the company as needed.
  • Work with our SOC to ensure that the company is postured to respond to and adapt to existing and emerging threats.
  • Support the compliance team to ensure the company is meeting internal security compliance obligations required by legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Work across departments to draft, publish, review, and update new policies, standards, procedures and guidelines relating to information security at Blackpoint.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in information technology/security, computer science, information systems management, or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate within and across multiple departments, working with, and managing external stakeholders, advocating for security integration into processes and workflows across the company.
  • Experience working with mobile device management solutions, configuring devices to industry accepted security standards, and monitoring for continued compliance
  • Experience deploying and maintaining password management solutions
  • Minimum 2 years direct experience working in the Microsoft environment, with Azure AD,, O365, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Intune administration experience.
  • Minimum 2 years direct experience managing Apple devices, using Apple Business Manager and Jamf.
  • Direct experience using and administering project management software/help desk software.
  • IT/Security training and certifications such as Network+, A+, Security+, GIAC certifications, CISA and similar are preferred.
