VitalSource®, is hiring a Product Manager, Data to contribute to our Product Department team located remotely.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in embedding data-driven solutions across our product suite. Your core responsibilities will include defining and improving our data visibility, data modeling, governance, embedding into products, traditional predictive analytics, and customer-centric insights across our product ecosystem. Where appropriate, you will also be responsible for implementing, understanding and utilizing AI, ML, and LLM technologies to assist in our data-driven technology solutions. You will work with internal business intelligence teams, data warehouse teams, data scientists and AI experts to build out and improve VitalSource’s data story. This will involve weaving advanced data stories within our existing product suite as well as working to build out new, market-facing data products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute data strategies for our product line.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and translate these into actionable data-driven product features.
• Develop and manage the roadmap for novel data products, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
• Collaborate with AI and ML experts to understand the latest advancements and how they can be applied to our products.
• Work closely with data scientists and engineers to leverage AI and ML in data related analysis and product development.
• Work with the development team to prioritize and deliver product enhancements and new features.
• Present data stories and insights to stakeholders (internal and external), helping them understand the impact of our products on the educational ecosystem.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven track record as a Product Manager, with a strong emphasis on data-driven product development.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, storytelling, and strategy development.
• Familiarity with SIS (Student Information Systems), LMS (Learning Management Systems), and other institutional data platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with a talent for identifying trends and insights through advanced data analysis methods.

Salary Range: $115,000 to $125,000
