The Role: Product Manager - Digital Payment Fraud

As a Product Manager for the Digital Payment Fraud team, you will be responsible for designing internal fraud management solutions and implementing 3rd party fraud tools in order to manage the fraud that occurs related to Autobooks’ Small Business digital payment products.

In this role, you will bring together passion and diligence for creating an exceptional merchant experience and deep technical payments and fraud expertise.

Our team is looking for an experienced and passionate Product Manager to oversee and build best-in-class fraud prevention tools and integrations, to enable Autobooks to reduce fraud-related losses and to optimize the fraud-management-related processes to minimize or eliminate manual steps.

The Responsibilities

  • As a key product team member, you will be responsible for all product management activities for our fraud defense strategy.
  • You will be responsible for designing new fraud detection methods and tools and, monitoring the data from our platform and payment systems to build a robust fraud detection and prevention system.
  • You will use your deep Fraud AI/ML experience and your informed point of view on fraud solutions to drive change and business results.
  • You will analyze and monitor usage and adoption data to both inform product development decisions and track the success of existing product initiatives.
  • You will assist the company in achieving short and long-term goals relating to fraud management and product growth

The Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business or Engineering preferred)
  • Experience designing, building, and managing fraud management platforms that enable a positive user experience, while also managing risk.
  • Proven experience leading robust digital payment fraud platforms preferred (e.g., Identity fraud, payments fraud, plastics transactions fraud, etc.).
  • Knowledge of back-end systems supporting payment transactions, servicing products and operational procedures.
  • Previous fintech, banking, or SaaS product management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to change
