As a Product Manager for Hagerty’s Shared Experiences. you will be challenged to grow the adoption of our payment and payment method experiences. You will also be responsible for the adoption and impact that shared experiences like communication preferences, owned vehicle details, and how our members discover Hagerty products, while they are logged into their self-service dashboard. You will be working with our amazing product team, redefining how people across the U.S interact with the suite of products Hagerty offers. With over 1,200,000 members and growing, this is a critical differentiator for our business and, therefore, one of our most essential products.
What You'll Do
- Lead the product team in achieving key results by selecting the right problem to solve and managing the risk of failure.
- Define the digital product strategy in partnership with investors across the business as well as other digital teams.
- Own feature definition, decomposition, prioritization, and experiment design.
- Live and breathe customer response and product performance. Own improvement of the product and drive Hagerty’s growth through it.
- Partner with design, operations, and engineering teams to create elegant experiences.
- Challenge the cross-functional teams (engineering, design, etc.) to think boldly and creatively. Funnel that energy into concrete products and execution plans.
- Create and review product specifications for new products and features. Review and prepare concise product requirements, including user stories, mock-ups, and user experience specifications.
- Create wireframes, breadboards, and other artifacts to tell the product story and give the team context on the problem space.
- Internalize and deeply understand Hagerty's mission, strategies, and the corresponding purpose and objectives. Use this to develop products that spin the flywheel.
- Liaise with the business on dependencies for delivery.
- Find the best methods to communicate the thoughts, ideas, and feedback from all information exchanges under every context (team meetings, business meetings, user interviews).

- Previous product management experience.
- Experience growing the engagement of digital platforms through listening to customers, analytics, new features, and enhancements.
- Experience testing multiple experiences and identifying opportunities.
- Long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills. Distinctive problem-solving skills.
- Experience utilizing analytics and data to understanding and quantify problems.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence business leaders.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery and overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Expertise in using project management tracking and reporting tools such as JIRA.
- Experience in crafting compelling positioning and marketing content.
- Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
- Demonstrated track record successfully managing ambitious and operationally complex products with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in establishing systems; structuring and implementing initiatives at scale.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about organizational excellence and attention to detail.
- Thrive in ambiguity in a fast-paced, hyper-growth organization.
- Strong technology vocabulary with a good understanding of full-stack software principles.
- Familiarity of public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable.
