What You Bring

As a Growth Engineer, you possess excellent coding skills with mad frontend UI chops! You’ve been there and (actually) done the following (over and over)…

• Have worked extensively with React and the proven ability to implement a pixel-perfect page with or without complete design specs from Figma.
• Shipped features that optimize the user funnel, such as landing pages, product pages, purchase flows, search flows, etc.
• Proposed and successfully implemented technical decisions to help drive the business.
• Launched more A/B tests than the total number of candles on your last birthday cake.
• Hustled at more than one startup or similar fast-paced environment; prior experience in e-commerce or subscription-based services preferred.
• Practiced Scrum or Kanban IRL.
• A great sense of humor! We take our work very seriously but never ourselves 😁

You get brownies points if you also have…

• Basic marketing and SEO knowledge
• Experience working with API
• Experience building marketing emails in SFMC
• Experience building animations
• Familiarity with Figma

What You’ll Do

As a Growth Engineer at Spokeo, you will get the rare opportunity to see the immediate impact of your work and contribute directly to our top line. Your creativity and sense of urgency will help us decide how fast we can grow our business.

• Build whatever it takes to grow! Collaborate closely with fellow Engineers, Scrum Masters, Designers, Growth Directors, and Marketers to ship high-impact deliverables every sprint.
• Launch A/B tests (SEM/SEO landing pages, product pages, search flows, SERPs, purchase flows, post-purchase flows, etc.) and other proofs-of-concept to validate hypotheses and improve user funnel.
• Lead technical initiatives to help drive or reduce our top line.
• Help improve our development process so we can work leaner, faster, and smarter!

React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/ HTML, Ruby on Rails, Node, and SQL.
