Job Summary
The ideal Junior Brand Designer will be someone with a background in graphic design and project management. The Junior Brand Designer will have ample opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of agency branding design and move up through the Creative Department.
Responsibilities
- Project optimization working with 8 to 10 clients at a time in varying industries.
- Production design execution of deliverables such as Brand/Style Guides, Marketing Collateral, and Presentation Decks
- Learning to use InDesign/Illustrator templates and updating deliverables as needed
- Brainstorming on mood boards, logo concepts, and creative approach
- Project managing creative engagements from brief to fulfillment
- Working hand-in-hand with Brand Designer to ensure the smooth running of schedule and engagement timelines
- Acting as comms lead on projects, keeping all stakeholders (both internal and external) up-to-date and aligned while ensuring all requests are actioned
- Participate in regular client calls and meetings, both internal and external
- Successfully managing client expectations and challenging scope/feedback requests when necessary
- Identifying and mitigating risks as well as knowing when to escalate issues
- Liaising with clients, creatives, and other Hawke teams to define project scope and agreed upon deliverables
Job Skills
- 1 year of design experience with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- 1 year of project management experience
- Good eye for branding design and interested in industry trends
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Keen to learn about all aspects of creative project management and the creative process
- Extremely flexible and adaptable with high level of attention to detail
- Real team player who loves working collaboratively
- High level of organization with exceptional multitasking skills to manage multiple projects at once
- Experience working in Google Workspace (Calendar, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.)
- An interest in creative, advertising, and digital experience
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently
- A diplomatic and confident communicator
