About The Position

As our SDET you will be part of a growing team that is building the most exciting live event technology company on the planet. You will report directly to the Head of QA and will collaborate directly with the CTO, software developers, designers, product team, salespeople, client service, product owners and other senior team members to solve problems and deliver the highest caliber product to our powerful and influential clients. You will have the benefit of extensive autonomy to explore and innovate for the betterment of our products.

Work-Life

This role is 100% remote with an optional work environment at our Santa Monica office, located on the 3rd Street Promenade. Most teams run West Coast Hours with lots of autonomy. At this time we are only able to hire US Citizens or active US Green Card holders

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of the QA pipeline and perform hands-on testing (70% Non-Functional, 30% Functional testing)
  • Execute test plans, and checklists to verify the functionality and performance of new features and services
  • Create test cases, record test results, generate detailed findings/bugs
  • Work with engineering and cross-departmental teams to identify test requirements
  • Diagnose issues discovered during the testing phase
  • Participate in building and maintaining the QA test automation framework for Web, Mobile, and APIs
  • Learn, adhere to, and improve QA processes
  • Work independently to solve problems with minimal supervision
  • Become well versed and understand the full Tixr software stack
  • Support all employees by addressing questions or concerns in a timely manner
  • Foster a Quality culture

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as SDET with strong emphasis on Software Quality Engineering
  • Experience with QA automation test framework development and API testing Fluency with Java and JavaScript
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and supporting performance testing of complex systems
  • Knowledge of debugging, profiling, and software analysis on desktop browsers and mobile devices& platforms
  • Experience with a variety of modern databases (Relational, NoSQL, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of software testing methodology and best practices
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and executing end-to-end automated test suites for web and mobile web/native
  • Experience working within an Agile Scrum environment, and with Agile Management tools such as JIRA, Pivotal Tracker or equivalent ALM tools
  • Experience with CI/CD practices
  • Experience with Git software version management
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive, positive, driven mentality that thrives in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Superior attention to details

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on Test Automation development experience on commercial& open-source tools, Selenium, Appium, Postman, RestAssured, TestNG, or equivalent testware
  • Experience of web application security testing and OWASP
  • Experience working in the ticketing, live events, music, or entertainment industries

The Pay Range For This Role Is
